Designed by Tealwash, the MediWash is a comprehensive hand wash facility designed for medical facilities and hospitals settings to provide a designated hand washing station. Ideal for plumbing breakdowns, planned maintenance, communal area's (Lobby/Cafeterias) and in directly combating infection control outbreaks.

The MediWash features a guided, synchronised visual display which, along with the timed wash cycle, works to ensure proper hand washing technique is applied.  Now no matter what, every staff, patient and visitor will be guided through the World Health Organisation's designated hand washing routine when washing hands.

No settings to be reset or adjustments to be made, simply add the MediWash station to your already rostered daily cleaning schedule. Capable of 80 wash cycles per filling, the Medi Wash's 10L TEALtainers ensure fresh and waste water are kept separate and hygieneically stored within the unit.

The wash program is as follows:​

1. Place your hands by the green sensor and it will flash for 3-5 seconds while heating the water

2. Water delivery for 3 seconds to wet hands

3. Apply liquid soap and follow the 7 hand washing actions on the visual display (15-20 seconds)

4. Hot water delivered to thoroughly rinse for 10 seconds, after which the sensor will reset.

5. Dry hands with single use paper towel.

        Total wash time approximately 35 seconds (excluding hand drying).

The MediWash is also fully self contained - meaning no need for fixed plumbing.  So with 4 fitted off medical type castors it really can go anywhere.

There are no old fashioned taps which can recontaminate hands, and the copper instantaneous water heater minimises bacteria risk.
